Josh Powell is a two-time NBA Champion and global athlete turned community leader, entrepreneur, and youth advocate. With over two decades of experience spanning professional basketball and social impact work, Josh brings a rare combination of elite performance, leadership, and heartfelt service to every endeavor. He played in the NBA for nearly a decade with teams including the Los Angeles Lakers, Atlanta Hawks, and Houston Rockets, and competed internationally across Europe, Asia, and South America—winning a EuroLeague Championship in 2012.

As Founder and CEO of the 21 Reasons to Give Foundation, Josh has dedicated himself to empowering youth through innovative programming, mentorship, and strategic partnerships. He also served as a Regional Representative in the NBPA’s Player Programs Department, helping players thrive both on and off the court. Through Skillset Academy, he trained and mentored youth athletes while cultivating relationships across multiple NBA franchises.
